Call to action !!!!!

LLANNERCH BRIDGE PETITION

The historic Llannerch Bridge between Trefnant and Tremeirchion collapsed due to the floodwaters of Storm Christoph in January 2021. The current estimated date for repairs to begin is summer 2023, this is not acceptable.

Presently local residents have to drive several miles out of their way to pass through the area, which is not only inconvenient but has a knock on environmental effect with an increase in road emissions and pollution.

In addition to this, large chunks of the fallen bridge still sit on the river bed, potentially increasing flood risk.

Sign this petition to call on the Welsh Government, Denbighshire County Council, Natural Resources Wales and other relevant parties to act now to bring about a solution to the damaged Llannerch Bridge. Click on link below to sign the petition.

Job Vacancy for Clerk

The Community Council is currently actively raising awareness of the ongoing work being undertaken by the Local Authority,  Denbighshire County Council, to review the current Local Development Plan (RLDP).

The RLDP is currently an ongoing agenda item for the Community council and in order to further raise awareness of the current position we chose to place the current candidate sites for Trefnant on the notice boards some weeks ago. A list of all candidate sites is also available on the DCC website.

There will be a statutory consultation process that will be undertaken by the Local Authority in line with the legal requirements for the RLDP.
